Nature's Failings ? |
Nature's “Failures” are failures of Education
The body does not fail us. Our education does. From infancy to adulthood, we are mis- educated, steeped in the idea that ill- health is unavoidable and inevitable in later years. Later we’re steeped in the exclusive medical concepts taught in schools, many of which are erroneous and feed into the idea that we must be beholden to drugs, treatments and someone wiser to tell us what to do. Meanwhile truths of body self- sufficiency and self-healing are forced to go out begging. Commonly held views are ever- present and insistent in our psyches and we ourselves, the well- conditioned innocent, even unwittingly promote erroneous medical beliefs without even knowing that we’re doing it. Quicker, "easier" methods and so-called cures neglect the all- important removal of the cause of illness. However, they are known and popular among health- seekers. Practitioners tend to be reluctant to explore their drawbacks. It is far easier to go along with what, on the surface appears to work than to investigate further. Its also true that there’s little money or incentive in promoting strictly natural ways. Thus have many, pressured by the typical desire for faster, easier results, deviated into more dubious methods. |
